I get the best insights from my Spiritual Entrepreneur Marketing Facebook Group (you can join for FREE if you aren’t already a member by CLICKING HERE) and lately pricing has been a big topic of discussion.

Not only is it a hot topic, it also appears to be a HUGE issue for many.

Money, the green stuff, moolah, as I like to call it. We have so many self-limiting beliefs around money, most of them handed to us by society. Money is the root of all evil, the rich are greedy and dishonest, money isn’t spiritual…I could on for days. Sadly, when we are told something long enough we begin to believe it for no other reason than that is what we have been told. By following this process we are giving our power away. Now it is time to take our power back and create our own belief system about money.

Money is simply energy. Nothing more.

The Universe wants everything to be in balance, for all energy to flow in harmony. Therefore, when we give energy, our gifts, we must also receive energy and it might as well be in the form of money energy. It is so simple when you think about it, yet we fight against the Universe everyday when it comes to this flow, why?

When it comes to accepting the energy of money some of the excuses, yes they are excuses, I hear are “I just want to help people” and “I don’t need very much money.”

Newsflash: THIS ISN’T ABOUT YOU

This isn’t about how much money YOU need. And this is NOT about creating abundance so you can buy stuff. There is nothing wrong with living well and enjoying your abundance, but this is about giving back. The more you can create, the more you can give back and create a HUGE ripple effect on this planet.

If you only make enough money to “get by”, then how are you going to help change the world? How many schools can you build on $50k a year after you pay your mortgage, car payment, food for your family and taxes? NONE. But on $500k a year, damn straight you can fund a school, feed hundreds of families and save some puppies too.

I think they got the cliche wrong. Money is not the root of all evil (greed however, is, but that is another blog post). Money builds schools, hospitals, feeds families and saves lives.

Ok, now that we have that cleared up, let’s discuss the problem that arises for spiritual entrepreneurs… receiving. Here is a fresh perspective when it comes to receiving.

First, we have to acknowledge that it feels good to give. Yes, we want to help people, but we have to admit that it feels REALLY good when we give. Why? Our body releases hormones when we do a good deed. Hormones like serotonin and dopamine. We actually get a high from giving.

Now that we have a better picture of why it feels good to give, it is time to honor those around us and allow THEM to feel good about giving too. Allow them to feel the rush of giving you energy…the energy of money. They get a giving high and you receive the energy you deserve.

The next time you are tempted to give your gift away for free, remember there is a force greater than you at work. Take a brilliant leap, know the Universe has your back and create a reality you love.
